Ravi Teja, a popular actor known for his commercial movie career, occasionally takes on experimental roles, such as “Tiger Nageswara Rao,” his upcoming film following “Ravanasura.” The movie is named after the lead character and based on true events inspired by the life of Nageswara Rao, a notorious thief from Stuartpuram village.
In “Tiger Nageswara Rao,” Ravi Teja will play the role of the real-life Nageswara Rao, and the film will revolve around his criminal activities. His appearance and attire will be rugged and raw to fit the film’s setting, although the makers have yet to release his official look.
The release date for the movie was recently announced, set for October 20, 2023, during the Dussehra festival. “Tiger Nageswara Rao” will also have a pan-Indian release in multiple languages, marking Ravi Teja’s first such film. It will compete with Ram Pothineni and Boyapati Srinu’s film during the festival, with potential additional big releases.
Written and directed by Vamsee, “Tiger Nageswara Rao” is produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts and features Bollywood actor Anupam Kher in a critical role. Most of the movie production takes place in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and GV Prakash Kumar composes the music.
