Samantha Ruth Prabhu has denied reports claiming that she made comments regarding her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya’s alleged relationship with actor Sobhita Dhulipala. The couple had tied the knot in 2017 but announced their split in 2021. Recently, news portals had quoted Samantha as saying that Chaitanya can date anyone he wants to, but he should change his behavior and keep his partner happy. However, Samantha has taken to Twitter to refute these claims, stating that she never made such statements.
The rumours of Chaitanya and Sobhita’s relationship have been doing rounds for months, and a recent photo from London sparked them again. Although Samantha has not disclosed the reasons for their divorce, she mentioned on Koffee with Karan last year that things weren’t amicable between them. She said that they were not on good terms, and if they were put in a room together, one would have to hide sharp objects.

Samantha is all set to appear in the upcoming period drama Shaakuntalam, while Sobhita will be seen in Ponniyin Selvan: II and the second season of Made in Heaven.
