On the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, the creators of Adipurush released a new poster featuring Devdatta Nage as Hanuman. Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, is a film based on the Ramayana. The poster depicts Devdatta Nage in a meditative posture, while the backdrop offers a glimpse of the lead actor Prabhas, who portrays Raghav in the magnum opus. Prabhas shared the poster on social media with a caption that pays homage to Lord Hanuman. Adipurush is set to release globally in theaters on June 16, 2023.
Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh, will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam in theaters. Initially, the film was scheduled to release on August 11, 2022, but the makers postponed it to avoid a clash with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, for which Aamir had thanked the team of Adipurush. The movie will be released in IMAX and 3D formats on June 16, 2023.
