“Orange: From Box Office Failure to Cult Classic”

Orange, a film that didn’t perform well at the box office upon its release, has since become a cult classic and is regarded as one of the best love stories in Telugu cinema. Even the film’s lead actor, Ram Charan, holds it dear to his heart.

To commemorate Ram Charan’s 38th birthday, the film’s producer, Naga Babu Konidela, who is also his uncle, re-released Orange in theaters across Telugu states for a three-day run from March 25-27. The response has been overwhelming, particularly in Hyderabad and other areas where Orange has become a phenomenon. The film collected a gross of approximately 2.12cr+ in 3 days during its re-release, which is significant considering its initial box office failure.

Orange has attained cult status for two primary reasons: Harris Jayaraj’s timeless and endearing music album and Bhaskar’s sincere and genuine love story. It will remain special in the hearts of Telugu audiences forever, and just like Ram’s character in the film promises to love his love interest more each time, Telugu audiences will continue to show their love for Orange year after year.
