Surender Reddy, the stylish director who took a long break after the movie ‘Saira Narasimha Reddy’, is all set to return with his latest film ‘Agent’, starring Akhil Akkineni. The movie is scheduled for release on April 28 in Telugu and Malayalam languages. As part of the promotions, the film team recently released a special video called ‘Dhruva x Agent’, featuring Mega Power Star Ram Charan back in his Dhruva look.
‘Dhruva’, a previous collaboration between Surender Reddy and Ram Charan, was a big hit and is still regarded as one of Charan’s best looks. The movie was released in December 2016 and was a remake of the Tamil movie ‘Thani Oruvan’ (2015). Although netizens speculated that the ‘Dhruva x Agent’ video hinted at a crossover between the two films, Akhil clarified that it was just a promotional video for Big Ticket.
‘Agent’ has been produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema, with Ajay Sunkara and Pathi Deepa Reddy serving as executive producers. The film features Malayalam Megastar Mammootty and Bollywood Actor Dino Morea in key roles, with Sakshi Vaidya as the female lead and Hip-hop Tamizha as the music director. The film’s editing has been done by National Award winner Naveen Noolii, while Rasool Ellore cranked the camera.
Though it is unclear whether there will be a cameo by Ram Charan’s character in ‘Agent’, fans of both Akhil and Charan are enjoying the ‘Dhruva x Agent’ video for now. Overall, ‘Agent’ promises to be an exciting film with a stellar cast and crew.
