Actor Thalapathy Vijay, who recently delivered a hit with the movie Varisu (Vaarsudu in Telugu) directed by Vamshi Paidipally, made his Instagram debut on April 2 and immediately broke the internet. Vijay’s first post on the photo-sharing app, a picture of himself from the sets of Leo directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, garnered over 4 million likes.
In less than 24 hours, the actor amassed 4.3 million followers on Instagram, with the number still rising.
Vijay is presently busy shooting for Leo, having recently wrapped up the Kashmir schedule after spending 55 days shooting some vital scenes. Leo is one of the most anticipated movies of 2023, and the actor has reunited with director Lokesh Kanagaraj after their successful first collaboration, Master.
The film also features Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Mysskin in significant roles and is slated to hit theaters worldwide on October 19. It remains unclear if Leo is part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe.
